The Ford Mustang 5.2L V8 race engine was built to power the all-new turnkey Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge Mustang race car.  This race car was developed to compete in the IMSA Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge – Grand Sport (GS) Class.

The Mustang 5.2L V8 engine is the next generation, naturally aspirated racing engine, specifically tuned for race competition. The race engine was engineered, validated and built by Ford Performance in partnership with Roush Yates Engines.
