ROUSH YATES ENGINES CELEBRATES 20TH SEASON

MOORESVILLE, NC – February 14, 2023  – Following a championship year in 2022, Roush Yates Engines will celebrate its 20th season as the engine builder for Ford Performance in NASCAR and IMSA.
Roush Yates Engines has a long history with Ford Performance, sharing the same passion for racing and desire to drive innovation in both the OEM and motorsports markets. In 2003, Ford Motor Company joined forces with Jack Roush and Robert Yates and revolutionized the engine design, development, and build of high performance racing engines for Ford’s NASCAR teams. These two legendary engine builders, led by President & CEO Doug Yates, founded the company in Mooresville, North Carolina.
This vision showed immediate success in its first season by starting on the pole at the Daytona 500, winning the 2004 NASCAR Sprint Cup Championship, and has powered championships and wins at crown jewel races such as the Daytona 500, Brickyard 400, Speed Week sweep in 2015, and winning the prestigious 24 Hours of Le Mans (LMGTE) in 2016. Roush Yates Engines has celebrated a total of over 440 combined NASCAR, IMSA and FIA wins with Ford since 2004.

In 2023, Roush Yates Engines will build engines and provide trackside support to Ford Performance’s NASCAR and IMSA (International Motor Sports Association) teams in four unique race series.
“We are extremely proud and fortunate to partner with Ford Motor Company and Ford Performance. Without their dedication to Roush Yates Engines and motorsports, none of this would be possible. The celebration of our 20th season would also not be possible without the hard work, preparation, and execution of our team over the years,” said Doug Yates, President & CEO of Roush Yates Engines. “The 2023 season will be a special milestone for our company as we have the opportunity to reflect back on our rich history while continuing to build race-winning engines and perform at the highest levels each week on the track.”
A special 20-year logo was unveiled today that will commemorate the 2023 season. RYE will celebrate 20 years through the season on its social media channels, highlighting its founders and rich history in motorsports. The 20th season celebration will extend into exclusive merchandise, media, employee and fan engagement, partnerships, and special events.
Roush Yates Engines will look for its eighth Daytona 500 win when the “Great American Race” kicks off the 2023 season from Daytona International Speedway this weekend and will race for back-to-back championships.
