Ford FR9 Carb V8

The Ford FR9 Carb engine platform was originally launched in 2009 and has been competitively raced in NASCAR ever since. It is also the foundation for the evolution of the Ford NASCAR  FR9 EFI race engine.

As part of the NASCAR Ford FR9 Engine program, engines are leased to teams competing in the NASCAR Xfinity Series.  New engines are delivered for every race. This unique and fast paced approach allows for delivering the latest in cutting edge technology for each race.

Roush Yates Engines also provides dedicated engine tuners, on-site chassis dyno technicians, and trackside program management to the Ford NASCAR teams. Our highly skilled and experienced team collaborate with team owners, drivers and crew chiefs to achieve winning results.
