Wade Riesterer

Technical Manager, Road Racing

Since joining the company in 2015, Wade Riesterer has served as the Technical Manager for Road Racing. He is responsible for the relationship with the Ford Performance team on the design, development and testing of the twin-turbo Ford EcoBoost V6 and Ford Shelby GT350R-C V8 race engine programs.  In addition, his team is also responsible for track side support, which includes engine management software development and calibration to optimize the performance and reliability of the engines.  

Prior to joining Roush Yates Engines, he previously worked at both Harley-Davidson Motor Co. as the Technical Staff Engineer for Engine Development in the Custom Vehicle Operations group and Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) where he held the position of Asst. Chief Engineer for V6 engines.

His position at Roush Yates Engines fuels his lifelong passion for engine development and racing. In his spare time he also enjoys taking rides on his motorcycles and exploring new areas.  

Riesterer graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and also holds a Masters of Engineering in Engine Systems from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
